Dr. Pedro Vergel

Dr Vergel has over 20 years experience in the fields of art and finance. He is currently Fellow in Mathematical Finance at QMUL, University of London, and has held senior roles in investment banking, alternative fund management, art organisations, government advisory and academia.

Dr Vergel has also been actively involved in editorial work with well-known finance publishers and has a number of publications in academic journals.

Throughout his career, Dr Vergel has cultivated a select network of business leaders in finance, art, media, family offices and advisors to HNWIs.

Dr. Tara Velez

Deputy Editor

Dr Velez has extensive studies in art and finance, including postgraduate education in both fields from the University of London, and at Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

Her pioneering research in art and finance attained international recognition in 2013 when it was acclaimed by institutional investors worldwide. Since then, her work has been shaping the field of art and finance.

Currently, Dr Velez is also the Program Director of the MSc International Finance at WBS, London. Dr Velez's previous work experience includes alternative investment funds and art institutions, such as the V&A.

Henry Price

A quantitative data analyst, Henry graduated from Imperial College with a degree in Theoretical Physics and continues research there in Complex Networks and Directed Acyclic Graphs. Henry also holds a masters degree in Mathematical Finance, and is currently working with financial institutions.

His most recent research with University of Oxford and University of Toronto focuses on the digital humanities.

Berke Erdis

Data Analyst Editor

A quantitative researcher, Berke graduated with a degree in Mathematical Engineering  and continues his postgraduate studies in Mathematical Finance at Queen Mary, University of London.

Berke is currently involved in several research projects  for financial institutions in the City of London. His most recent research is in artificial intelligence,  and alternative data analysis in Art and Finance.
